At HSWheels Ltd. health and safety is a priority. By ensuring a safe environment for our drivers regardless of if at a HSWheels terminal, while on the road or at a customer location, all drivers follow strict protocols designed to maintain productivity in a safe manner.
Additionally, we believe that by stringently maintaining our tractors and trailers we’ll also be enhancing our drivers’ safety by mitigating potential injury due to equipment related issues.
Our entire team is dedicated to assuming a leadership role in the area of health and safety. This responsibility begins with working safely, operating vehicles safely, and following established safety policies, including defensive driving and safe working procedures. These Procedures Include:
- Strict adherence to hours-of-service regulations
- Regular joint health and safety committee meetings at each facility.
- Posted minutes of monthly meetings for all team members to review.
- Recognized apprenticeship programs
- EAP (Employee Assistance Program) for all team members

Corona Virus Action Plan
As an essential service company that is responsible to help keep the supply chains of our customers moving, HSWheels Ltd. has adopted and enforced policies recommended by the CDC to keep all employees and visitors safe and away from the workplace if they show any symptoms of the virus.
- Prior to entering the workplace, all employees must complete an online health questionnaire.
- All guests entering a HSWheels facility are not permitted access until they have completed a covid questionnaire.
- Masks are to be worn at all times when in common areas at all HSWheels facilities.
- Social distancing must be maintained.
- HSWheels maintains constant communication with the government to keep up to date on all potential developments associated with covid protocols.
- Hand sanitizers and masks are readily available in all common areas and individual offices.
- All workstations are cleaned and sanitized on a weekly basis.
- The inside of all HSWheels tractors and trailers get sanitized on a regular basis.
